#Sourdough4Thanksgiving

Your sourdough starter could one of the best parts of your Thanksgiving feast and that is why we started this hashtag, #Sourdough4Thanksgiving. That way we can all use social media to share ideas we have for using sourdough this holiday season. Here are five we have selected for you:

Sourdough bread makes delicious stuffing. At Abigails Oven, we select and dry a blend from our Country Wheat, Rustic Wheat, and Seeded loaves to make a flavorful mix for your bird. But for a tangy spin on traditional stuffing, try pairing sourdough bread with sausage, sautéed onions and apples, dried cranberries, and fresh herbs. Read how on our Facebook page

Sourdough Pie Crusts

Sourdough pie crusts can be used for either savory or sweet pie fillings. This recipe from Little Spoon Farm is buttery, flaky, and tender. And it is made with sourdough discard. Get the full recipe on our Facebook page here.

Sourdough Bread Pudding

This dessert is a delightful surprise after dinner and is a simple way to use up leftover bread cubes not used for your stuffing. See the recipe here.
